To mark the grand opening of its fifth location, across North Street from Faneuil Hall Marketplace, UBurger will host a celebration offering free burgers, French fries, and beverages.

The event at the new UBurger location at 16 North St. will take place from 4 – 7 p.m. on Feb. 27. It will also include prizes, music, and a UBurger-inspired couture gown designed by Lori Kyler Christensen, owner of the Boston-based Venni Caprice fashion label.

The new location is the former home of the Red Sky lounge. It opened as a UBurger on Feb. 12.

UBurger said in a statement that its hamburgers are made from 100 percent USDA natural beef, are never frozen, and are cooked fresh to order. Co-founders, Nick Kesaris and Spiro Kouvlis opened their first location, on Beacon Street in Kenmore Square, in October 2006, according to the chain’s web site.

Its other locations are on Tremont Street near the Park Street MBTA station, on Commonwealth Avenue across from Agganis Arena, and in the Curry Student Center at Northeastern University.
